This year, the Angkor Archaeological Park attracted nearly 700,000 international visitors in the first nine months, a 29.7% increase from last year. The park generated $32.5 million in ticket sales, up 30% from the previous year. Key tourist markets included the United States, Britain, France, South Korea, and China.

In September alone, the park welcomed 47,993 foreign visitors, earning $2.18 million. The newly opened Siem Reap Angkor International Airport has significantly boosted tourism, particularly from China, as part of ongoing people-to-people exchanges. The Angkor site, a UNESCO World Heritage site, is renowned for its ancient temples built between the 9th and 13th centuries.
